Pattern Shop
Metalcast Ni has a traditional pattern shop . Patterns can be made from photographs , drawings , existing castings or a completely new design . Patterns can be made from wood , plastic , High density polystyrene , rubber, wax , fibreglass etc . We can make to customers own patterns but would advice talking to ourselves before commencement. Generally speaking any patterns produced are exclusive to you our customer , you pay for them and we do not use them for any other purpose other than your own specific orders .
Metal fabrication Workshop
Metalcast Ni fabrication workshop has specialist expertise in a vast variety of differ mediums . We can fabricate materials in Brass , Bronze , Mild Steel , Stainless Steel , Zinc , Cast Iron , Wood and Glass . Are main buinness is in Conservation and Restoration of varies metal objects Manufacture of Art Sculptures for varies artists Reproduction of Georgian 1790 – 1831 Victorian 1832 – 1901 Edwardian 1902 – 1915 ironwork General metal fabrications .
Foundry
We are a small foundry regularly producing batches of 250/350 castings at a time . We also produce one off castings for repairs to Fencing , Gates , Balastrades , Broken Machinery , Window Handles , Vintage Car parts , and many other small quantity requirements . Castings are also produced for both small scale and large scale sculptures .
Castings are produced in a variety of different methods but the main ones are; Green Sand Moulding, Lost wax, Ceramic Shell, Chemical Bonded Sand.

Shot – Blasting and Painting
We regularly are asked to blast clean objects , to remove all paint and rust from gates , railings , benches , water pumps , machinery etc . We use blast mediums such as J Blast , Glass or sodium crystals .
Painting can be completed to required standard in single pack , 2 pack or rubberised . Paint finishes can be finished in Matt , Sheen , Semi Gloss or Full Gloss . Brush Finished or Spray Finished and if required Polyester Power Coated.
